As the new millennium approached it became clear that more and more Isle of Man Post Office customers were choosing to outsource their mail room operations as a long-term strategy. Such was the level of demand and the calibre of service required that the only acceptable solution was for us to create a new division with high levels of specialist expertise and resourcing developed from a wealth of experience built up over many years in the postal and mailing industry.
This new division came into being in 1998
The relocation of Isle of Man Post Office to new headquarters in Spring Valley, Douglas, presented the ideal opportunity for significant further investment in our outsourcing capability. More of our processes were automated with state of the art envelopment machines, increasing our range of services. Efficiency was also improved, allowing us to maintain our quality standards at lower cost to customers.
In October 2002 the division was re-branded Integrated Mailing Solutions to reflect the depth and breadth of expertise, technology and services we could offer.
